Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what information koducat ("we") processes when you use this website, and why. The site is operated by [operator legal name and address].

1. Data you enter into tools

Most tools — including the formatters, validators, encoders, decoders, converters, hash, password, UUID and JWT tools — process your input entirely in your browser. That input is not uploaded to our servers, not stored, and not included in analytics.

Exception — API Tester. The API Tester sends the HTTP request you build (URL, headers and body) directly from your browser to the server you specify, when you click Send. That request does not pass through our servers, but the destination server receives it and is governed by its own privacy practices. Headers you enter are kept only in page memory and are discarded when you leave or reload the page.

Optional URL loading. The JSON Formatter's "Load JSON data" feature fetches a URL you enter, directly from your browser and only when you click the button. No cookies are sent and the request does not pass through our servers.

Some tools download an additional code library from our site the first time you use a feature (for example the JavaScript minifier). This is a normal file download and does not include your input.

2. Contact form

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, subject and message to reply to you. Messages are delivered to us by email through our email service provider [provider name, e.g. Resend]. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request [retention period].

3. Server logs

Like any website, our hosting infrastructure may record technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, browser user agent and time, for security and reliability. These logs do not contain the content you type into tools. [hosting provider and log retention period]

4. Analytics (optional)

If analytics is enabled on this deployment, we use Google Analytics 4 only after you accept it in the consent banner. We send coarse, predefined events — for example which tool page was opened or that a "format" action was used — and never the content you enter. Google signals and ad personalisation signals are disabled for analytics. You can change your choice at any time as described in the cookie policy.

5. Advertising

If advertising is enabled on this deployment, we show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and — where permitted and consented — to personalise them. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

6. Browser storage

We store your analytics consent choice in your browser's local storage. Tools do not save your input, tokens, passwords or generated values to browser storage.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object or complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise them, contact us at support@koducat.com. [add jurisdiction-specific details, e.g. GDPR legal bases and CCPA disclosures]

8. Children

This website is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above.
